I sent out the last order of hands/fingers for 2011. More products will be available in 2012 including gory severed hands, but I am focusing on wrapping up illustrations for Identity Thief in the next couple of months so until that's done, the shop will be pretty limited. But lots more is on the way for 2012.

And suddenly its Robmas. That merry time of year when Rob gets older more distinguished and I get to finally get someone to celebrate the Christmas season with.

We get a tree every year and I'm pretty sure it gets more awesome each year.  Though somehow the chocolate in our advent calendars never seems to improve... But picking out a tree in the rain and decorating it while listening to Elvis pretty much makes the perfect start to the season every year. 

This year, the christmas miracles started early. I had a small Meagsgiving viking skating party at World on Wheels where I was treated to the most amazing viking cake ever by my friend Alyssa (cleverlittlecat.com). Hire her for your baking needs. You won't be disappointed!

And just when I thought it was all over, Rob and my awesome friends conspired to surprise me with a birthday trip to DISNEYLAND. I had no idea. no clue at all until they took the blindfold off and it was the best day ever.  And 2011 really did end up being one of the best years ever.

Best gift you'll ever find and you don't have to stand in any lines for it.

Its not too late to get it before Christmas. And you definitely want to get this.

Something Animal is a comic written by Sam Rhodes and Bryant Dillon of Fanboy Comics (at the time, they were still Openly Lewd Comics). They found Robert Burrows (www.nocuddletime.com) early last year and entrusted him with their literary baby not yet realizing that in his hands, this baby would become an adonis. As Rob's amazing talent unfolded page by page, it became clear that this was going to be kind of a big deal. Eventually this baby, grew into one hell of a 90 page graphic novel. Screw metaphors. Its amazing.

Its been a truly wonderful experience watching this project emerge as the beautiful book that it is. An enormous congratulations to Robert Burrows, Bryant Dillon, Sam Rhodes and the rest of the Fanboy comics crew on the release of Something Animal.
